CROC POWER!

This is why I'm a fashionista wannabe.

Actually, I have no time to be a fashionista wannabe -- Vogue has been sidelined by Parents.

But, an article about the weird Crocs phenonmenon. I must say, I never thought of this as an explanation:

"The idea that I can do grown-up serious stuff and wear these silly shoes, that's fun," says Polk. "It's kind of like going to a candy store, but you don't eat it; you wear it."

I wear them because

1) reasonably comfortable

2) easy and don't stinnk

3) I have no shame. Oh, and ridiculously difficult feet that mean most shoes aren't an option. I will not suffer for fashion...because, seriously, who is looking at my feet.

The Mary Janes (and the relatively new Alice, which I'd like to try out) have a slightly less clown shoe look to them. Or perhaps I'm kidding myself.

So raise a fist for CROC POWER!
