One of the joys of late pregnancy, I guess -- you don't sleep. You may doze and feel generally nuts and sleep deprived, but real sleep ain't on the agenda.
It goes something like this - about 9 p.m., I fall asleep sitting up (usually watching TV, feet up, willing the blood pressure to behave itself). TBO awakens me from my pre-bedtime nap, we read in bed a bit, then off to lala land....or so I hope.
Then the hourly trips to the bathroom begin. At about 2 or 3 a.m., the racing thoughts begin -- work, baby, labor, delivery, tomorrow's to-do list, it really doesn't matter. And let us not forget I have a stomach that protrudes about a foot away from my body, making a comfortable position a laughable concept.
Oh well - we're getting close. Stop your complaining, right?
